Brunel University of London is accepting applications for its MBA Scholarships for the January 2027 intake. The awards are tuition fee waivers of GBP 7,375 to GBP 14,750 for one year of the Brunel MBA, and the scholarship application closes at midnight on Sunday 29 November 2026.
There are two deadlines, and the earlier one is the one students miss. You must first apply for the MBA course itself by 15 November 2026, because these awards are made only to candidates who already hold an offer of a place. The separate scholarship form, which carries a 500-word essay, is then due by 29 November 2026. Late scholarship applications are not considered.
The awards are open to UK, EU and international applicants on the full-time MBA. Indian students should note one restriction: the two part-time MBA scholarships are only for home fee paying applicants under UK government fee regulations, so an Indian student on a student visa route should plan around the full-time awards.

How much is each Brunel MBA scholarship worth?
The university runs six awards for the January 2027 intake. Each one is a tuition fee waiver, not a cash payment, and it is applied to the fee you owe.

The Distinguished International Scholarship is the one aimed at overseas applicants: the university describes it as an award for international students with a distinguished academic and/or professional track record, and you must explain your qualifying achievements inside the application form. The Healthcare Management award is different again – there is no separate form, the Course Director identifies recipients during the application stage and the MBA department makes the award.
Who is eligible for the Brunel MBA Scholarship?
- You must apply for, and meet the entry criteria of, the full-time or part-time Brunel MBA.
- You must be holding an offer of a place on an MBA programme that starts in January 2027 – the terms say awards are made only to candidates who hold an offer.
- You must complete the scholarship application form, which is an essay of no more than 500 words on why you would make a good ambassador for the Brunel MBA, plus a supporting statement.
- The personal statement you submit with the MBA application is also used, to show a career trajectory towards senior management or leadership.
- Nationality and country of domicile are taken from the course application and used when choosing the Distinguished International scholarship recipients.
Who cannot get this scholarship?
- Applicants whose tuition fees are paid by an employer, a government or a third party, partly or in full, are not eligible.
- Applicants holding a deferred offer are considered in the year they actually start the course, not in the year they applied.
- The two part-time awards are limited to home fee paying applicants, which excludes most Indian applicants.
- Applicants who send the September scholarship form for a January start are not considered and have to apply again with the January form.
How to apply for the Brunel MBA Scholarship
- Apply for the Brunel MBA (January 2027 entry) through the university’s normal postgraduate application route, and do it before 15 November 2026.
- Wait for the offer of a place – the scholarship is conditional on holding one.
- Fill the January 2027 MBA scholarship application form with the 500-word essay and your supporting statement.
- Submit before midnight on 29 November 2026. Late applications are not considered.
- If shortlisted, attend the interview with the MBA Scholarship Committee, which assesses motivation and the contribution you would make to the cohort.
The committee reviews applications through the year and formally awards scholarships twice a year – in August/September for the September intake and in December for the January intake. The panel says it looks for applicants from a wide range of industries, and that preference may be given to those interested in the Healthcare Management and Aviation Management specialisations. Its decision is final and the university does not accept appeals.

Two conditions are worth reading twice. The awards are for the 2026/27 academic year only and cannot be deferred to a later month or year, so if you postpone your studies you lose the award and must re-apply in the year you begin. And the award covers one year only for the full-time MBA – it is not a multi-year funding promise.
One inconsistency on the official page: clauses 2.7 and 3.7 of the terms still print “2025/26” in the sentence about which intakes the awards cover, while the page header, the award table and clause 4.1 all say 2026/27 and January 2027. The January 2027 deadlines and amounts above come from the live award table; treat the leftover 2025/26 wording as a page that has not been fully updated, and confirm with the MBA admissions team if your offer is for a later intake.
