Scholarships for postgraduate, PhD and research students – fellowships, stipends and PG funding.
The HBKU Scholarship 2027 in Qatar gives international graduate students a tuition waiver of up to 100% plus a monthly stipend of up to QAR 9,000 for PhD and QAR 7,000 for master’s students. International applications close on 1 February 2027.
The TU Delft Excellence Scholarship 2027 offers 16 full MSc scholarships (Justus & Louise van Effen) covering first-year tuition and living expenses, plus 2 partial Microelectronics scholarships. The deadline is 1 December 2026.
The P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship (IPS) 2027 gives up to US$12,500 to women from other countries who are doing graduate study in the USA or Canada. Applications are accepted from 15 September to 15 December 2026 and awards are announced in May.
The KAUST Fellowship 2027 covers full tuition, a monthly stipend, base accommodation, health insurance and relocation for MS and PhD students in Saudi Arabia. KAUST values the package at US$70,000 to US$80,000 per year. Fall 2027 applications close on 3 January 2027.
The Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship (JJ/WBGSP) 2027 pays tuition, a monthly living allowance, medical insurance and air travel for a master’s degree at 23 participating universities. India is on the eligible country list. Window 1 closes on 26 February 2027.
The NL Scholarship, formerly the Holland Scholarship, gives non-EEA students including Indians EUR 5,000 for the first year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the Netherlands. Applications open in November and each Dutch institution sets its own closing date.
The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme pays an annual stipend of HK$344,400 (about US$44,150) plus a research travel allowance for up to three years of full-time PhD study at eight Hong Kong universities. The initial application closes on 1 December 2026.
The Oxford Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarship covers 100% of course fees, a living-cost grant and the full Leadership Programme for a one-year master’s at Oxford. Apply by the December 2026 or January 2027 deadline of your course.
The Heinrich Boll Foundation funds Master’s and PhD study in Germany for international students, with about EUR 992 per month for non-EU applicants. The spring 2027 window runs from 15 January to 1 March 2027.
The University of Sydney RTP Stipend Scholarship pays A$44,293 per year plus 100% tuition fees and health cover for international PhD and research Master’s students. The next deadline is 18 December 2026.
